　　The YF90 steam turbine is a multi-stage backpressure turbine. Its flow path consists of either a double-row velocity-compounding stage (or a single-row velocity-compounding stage) and two to four pressure stages. As a modular turbine, the actual number of stages used depends on the turbine’s output power, rated speed, inlet steam pressure and temperature, and exhaust steam pressure conditions, all of which are optimized during the design process.

　　The YF90 multi-stage backpressure steam turbine boasts a higher internal efficiency than single-stage and two-stage backpressure turbines (with an internal efficiency exceeding 70%). In the current context of increasingly scarce energy resources, it represents an ideal solution that can either be directly adopted or used to replace existing lower-efficiency turbines currently in operation, offering exceptionally high practical value.

　　The steam turbine operates at speeds ranging from 3,000 to 7,000 r/min, with an output power range of 500 to 3,000 kW. The governing system employs either a fully hydraulic governor or an electro-hydraulic regulation method (using either the WOODWARD 505 controller plus CPCii electro-hydraulic transducer or a domestically produced DEH electro-hydraulic control system). It features multi-valve nozzle regulation and centralized forced lubrication via a dilute-oil station, significantly reducing both design and installation time, and making it more convenient for users to operate and maintain. The unit can be arranged either in a single-layer or a double-layer configuration. The YF90 back-pressure multistage steam turbine can serve as a driving turbine, powering large rotating equipment such as pumps, fans, and compressors; alternatively, it can drive generators to produce electricity, functioning as a generating turbine. Its application scope and operational settings are extremely broad.
