Product Description

　　The F45 turbine is a single-stage backpressure turbine with dual output shafts. The couplings on both sides of the turbine can drive two pieces of equipment—for example, two water pumps. Alternatively, one side can drive a water pump (or a fan or compressor), while the other side drives an electric motor, allowing the three units to operate together. The advantage of this configuration is that when the steam inlet and outlet pressures of the turbine fluctuate significantly, the electric motor can adjust its power output or absorb power fluctuations accordingly. This makes it particularly suitable for applications with large variations in power load or unstable steam systems.

　　The combined operation of the steam turbine, electric motor, and driven equipment (such as a pump, fan, or compressor) can also accommodate the following operating conditions: When the steam turbine's steam supply is insufficient or its exhaust heat load is constrained, the turbine's output power may fail to meet the normal operational requirements of the driven equipment. In such cases, the steam turbine and electric motor operate jointly to provide sufficient power, with the electric motor compensating for the shortfall in power output. Alternatively, depending on the system’s heat load profile and the available steam flow, the steam turbine’s output power not only meets the normal operational demands of the driven equipment but also generates excess power. In this scenario, the electric motor absorbs the surplus power, converting it into electrical energy through asynchronous generation and feeding it into the plant’s low-voltage (or high-voltage) power grid, thereby reducing the plant’s overall electricity consumption rate. This approach maximizes steam utilization and delivers even more significant energy-saving benefits.
